Extended Service chemical filters use a patented combination of slow release chemicals and a diffusion orifice to slowly release chemicals during the extended service intervals. The chemical additive in ES filters is especially designed to only replace chemicals depleted with engine operation and therefore minimize coolant total dissolved solids (TDS). High TDS adds to water pump seal failure. Extended service filters feature StrataPore™, which provides improved efficiency and capacity ideal for extended service intervals.
