In the mid-1970s, Cummins Filtration began expanding to meet the challenges and opportunities for growth and enhanced customer support. Today, we operate in all corners of the world and are the only filtration and exhaust company that provides global solutions for global customers.
As our customers expand internationally, Cummins Filtration is ready and able to serve them. Our resources are continually focused on penetrating new global markets. In South Africa, for example, our new distribution center serves emerging markets. In addition, we've opened a new marketing office in Japan to meet the growing demands for an on-site Cummins Filtration presence. Many Cummins Filtration employees routinely visit our international customers to ensure that we meet the diverse and unique needs of customers throughout the world.

At each location, a committee of both salaried and hourly employees, along with community leaders, plans the major focus activities for the facility, tracks results and reports against measurements. Each global entity chooses three to five projects to sponsor each year through both monetary and hands-on equity support.
